Dr Yvonne Armitage is Principal Strategic Programme Manager at CPI focused on engineering biology and future food systems. Until October last year she was Director of the Biotechnology Team at CPI responsible for delivery of the strategy and operations of multiple bio-process development and scale up projects.
Yvonne is passionate about industrial biotechnology having spent 30 years in the field, 20 of those in large company research, where she gained first-hand expertise in taking bioprocesses from design to full scale production.
Yvonne has a PhD in microbiology and biochemistry and is a member of a number of scientific and management boards at national and international level.
